AM graduation & Student Choice Awards !

Woot! :) I am now officially an Animation Mentor graduate, the graduation ceremony took place in San Francisco in January. I could not make it to the ceremony because of crunch at work, but thanks to AM - I could watch it live through a webcast. It was one awesome day (night here while I watched it online)!

Another thing to rejoice about - I won two Student Choice Awards !!
One for "Most Supportive Student" and the other "Most Improved Student". It was a huge shock for me. Student choice awards are student nominated and selected by the graduating class of students.

Throughout AM I have always been feeling to be lucky to have such talented and helpful people studying with me, and with this award I felt happy to have contributed back to the community in some way.

When I watch my pencil tests I did before I joined AM and the acting dialog/ short film I can see how far I have come because of the school. Without AM and the overall AM community nothing like this would have been possible. Thanks a lot to my mentors Jalil Sadool, Joe Mandia, Mike Belzer, Greg Kyle, Elliot Bour and Keith Sintay for being such a big source of motivation and inspiration alongwith all the great things they shared with us. Kudos to Shawn, Bobby, Carlos for creating and nurturing the coolest school on earth !

Thanks to my friends at AM who have always been very encouraging and supportive - I couldnt be there to meet them in person, but hoping to catch up sometime soon at another AM gathering :)

Heres a link to the post about the event in the monthly AM Newsletter http://www.animationmentor.com/newsletter/0210/feature_special.html

C!
